I’ve been using Arlo cameras since the first generation, but I purchased a wire free door bell, but didn’t realize I need a hub in order to keep the foot to be saved locally without a subscription, the hub works great, and set up was pretty easy, I was able to adde my doorbell and old cameras as well and all work perfectly, however the down side is that in order to view the footage from the local storage you need to set up your home router and hub with port forwarding, which seems to be kind of a bit of work, what I don’t agree with the company is that why they add a port a USB storage on the hub which will need more work and as simple as plug and play, it seems the company does that to push customers to be attached to be paying monthly fee to view the cameras and doorbell footage.
