Brand New RM4 pro IR/RF Universal Remote

RM4 pro is an updated version of RM pro+. Different from RM pro+, RM4 pro is more streamlined and curved in shape. Support both 38KHz IR and 433MHz fixed code RF remote control and signal learning. Similar to RM4 mini, it supports a special sensor cable, which can real-time monitor and display room temperature and humidity in the App. The sensor cable is sold separately if needed.

Supports Temperature & Humidity Sensor Cable (Sold Separately)

Sensor Accessory HTS2 is our first USB sensor cable which can detect room temperature and humidity and display the data in the APP real-timely, which will be much easier to let you know your environment. For now, it only works with RM4 pro and RM4 mini, doesn’t support RM mini3, RM pro+ or BestCon RM4C mini.

Zero Configuration Powered by FastCon Technology

RM4 pro supports Zero Configuration, after adding the first FastCon device to the app, as usual, when you power on other new FastCon devices and try to add, they will be automatically discovered and added without entering the password again.

New App BroadLink

A new app named BroadLink is available now in the App Store and Google Play. It has enhanced user experiences in configuration and creating timers and scenes than IHC. Besides, if you have an Android phone integrates IR emitter itself, you can use it to control your IR devices from BroadLink App to try it out before you make the purchase.

Hands-Free Voice Control

Compatible with Alexa to voice control your TV, STB, Air Conditioner and Fans, compatible with Google Home to voice control your Air Conditioner. Make sure the devices can be remotely controlled from external networks. In Amazon Alexa/Google Home Apps, enable the skill/service named BroadLink, link account and discover devices. When you are busy doing housework with your hands, voice control will be a great helper. Try to say “Alexa, turn on the TV” or “OK Google, turn on the air conditioner”.

Works With IFTTT

IFTTT is the freeway to get all your apps and devices connect with each other. RM4 pro supports IFTTT to create more fun experiences with other apps and devices.

Create Scenes and Timer

Customize different scenes with one-click option for sleep scene, morning scene, away scene and more. Set a timer, never miss your favorite game or TV show with TV turn-on scheduling. Set your AC schedule to enjoy a temperature-controlled environment and a good night sleep.

Set up in 3 steps

Download the new app BroadLink in App Store or Google Play (support IOS 8.0 / Android 4.0 and above) and configure the device according to the app instructions.

Find Your Control Panel or Learn Button

Industry top level development technology. BroadLink Patented Global Cloud Service technology and plenty of remote control database enable fast and reliable operation.

Learning mode is available, you can define a remote and learn buttons if you couldn’t find your remote in our database.

Voice Control with Alexa

Make sure the devices can be remotely controlled from external networks. In Amazon Alexa/Google Home Apps, enable the skill/service named BroadLink, link account and discover devices.

Something you need to know

(1) Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network before adding device (5GHz is not supported)

(2) The Wi-Fi password should contain no more than 32 characters and no special characters which are not available on standard keyboard layout.

(3) If you have difficulties to add device in smart configuration mode, please refer to Indications on the manual to try AP configuration.

(4) RM4 pro IR only supports 433MHz fixed code remote and code learning, not 315MHz or rolling code

Why RM4 pro Does Not Support Rolling Code?

A rolling code (or hopping code) that changes for every use is commonly used in radio frequency (RF) control systems especially those requires access control or privacy protection. It is a simple encryption method to prevent attackers from controlling electrical devices easily. This is usually applied on some brands of curtain/blind/shade motors to provide higher privacy protection.With this principle, even RM4 pro can successfully learn the RF code, it will be unable to control rolling code RF device. Actually this is not a fault of BroadLink’s device or software but the mechanism of rolling code prevents it working as it was intentionally designed for security and privacy.So far as we know, products from these brands are using rolling code and not compatible with BroadLink: Somfy, Dooya, Jarolift, ASA motor & Elegance controller, 50 MARCONI50 motor & RADIO RTW controller.Please kindly check the User Manual or Instruction before purchasing to make sure your RF device is NOT a Rolling Code. If you are not sure, please provide us with the Brand and Model so we can check it for you.
