UBIPOl PCT513 smart thermostat is different with most wifi thermostat, we improved the design and functions. We have studied most of the smart programmable thermostats in the market, upgraded our system chip to adapt to more HVAC systems in North America market, and developed the most humanized software system to make the operation clearer. Considering the actual needs of families, we have added a wall cover in the packaging to keep the wall clean and coordinated, Also, we consider that there is no C wire in some families with more than three wire system, so we put a power module in the package to help reintegrate the wire to adapt the themostat. For the quality, we tested the touchscreen 100,1000 times and still works great, the 99.8% systems have been running normally till now, also it has Ce, FCC, Rohs certification. C-Wire Power Module

Most Wi-Fi thermostats with smart features need to be powered all the time.

So it needs a constant 24V AC power source, typically called a C-wire.

If you do not have a c-wire on the wall, the SWB511 Power Module can reconfigure

your existing wires to power the thermostat without installing new wires throughout your home.

BUT:

Power module requires your system to have the following wires:

4 wires: W/W1, Y/Y1, G, and R (or Rc or Rh)
or 3 wires: Y/Y1, G, and R (or Rc or Rh)

If you do not have these wires, your system may not be compatible with the smart thermostat.
